Plaintiff sued our client, a supermarket, when she was hit by a vehicle while crossing the store’s parking lot. She argued a store plant rack obscured her view and the driver’s view of her. The jury concluded the store had no fault and returned a defense verdict.

We obtained a defense verdict for a home improvement retailer. Plaintiff claimed a traumatic brain injury when a store sign blew over onto her head. She argued the retailer failed to maintain a reasonably safe environment by placing the sign too close to the front door. The jury found the retailer was not negligent.
